Briefly describe your program.
Free concert for the community and library patrons. We are a group of jazz musicians who are always “In the Mood” to play some of the greatest jazz tunes ever written. Our library consists of over 600 pieces that have been curated over the course of almost 60 years and includes artists such as Glenn Miller, Count Basie, Duke Ellington and more. It doesn’t matter if you were born in the 1920s or the 2020s, our performances are sure to get your toes tapping!
Formed in Davis County, Utah in 2018, our goal is to provide an opportunity for both seasoned and less-seasoned musicians to create “Crazy Rhythm” together and learn from each other. As you might imagine, this has led to some unique musical results. Nevertheless, while we no longer provide free ear plugs, the Rhythm Red Devils Jazz Big Band always provides an entertaining experience for our audiences.
