Program Description
Event Details
Photographer Chris Carlson will be speaking about his work documenting the receding Great Salt Lake which he has dedicated himself to over the past three years. This work, using both traditional cameras and drones provides breathtaking views and stunning ground-level images of our very important ecological and environmental neighbor to the west.
His book Preserving Greatness: Great Salt Lake in Photographs brings together these beautiful images and serves as a reminder of the importance of the lake not only to humans but to the wide variety of species that rely on the lake for existence.
Chris will be signing copies of his book and they will be available for purchase.
Note: For easy access to the auditorium, please park on the west side of the administration building (on Main St.). You can enter the main library entrance or the doors slightly north of the library entrance to access the auditorium.
