Briefly describe your program.
We are from Voyage Academy in Clinton UT. The 6th-grade students will be writing and illustrating digital children's books on "Hidden Figures" in space/science. We would like to hold a celebration of learning where students can present to family members and members of the public what they have learned and created. This will be an open house-style event, where members of the community are welcome to attend from 4:30 pm to 6:30 pm. We scheduled a half hour before and after for setup and clean up.
The event will have the students presenting to attendees in groups of three on their iPads. We would also like to project a slide show of all of the presentations on a loop.
We would also like to donate printed copies of the three books the kids are creating to the library.
