It's a NOVA BURST!!

Some time between now and the end of September, a recurrent nova will burst from T Corona Borealis, very near the north star Polaris.

It is expected to be the brightest nova event in the last century and will be visible to the naked eye even with city light pollution. These tend to happen in a predictable time frame, predictable to several months, but not predictable to the week or the day. All the pre-nova signs have happened, so it could be VERY SOON!

Come learn about the two stars involved in this process and what to expect when this phenomenon occurs.

Jen Jones, our NASA Solar System Ambassador, will present information and answer questions, plus an activity!
