Briefly describe your program.
We'll have a couple different speakers. They'll either teach about a concept related to nature stewardship/being environmentally friendly, or teaching a skill related to that. They might be from an organization, but I'll make sure they know not to mention donating.
There will also be a service project (TBD), and then there will be tables with items and science fair boards with info for further learning. I'd also like to gather a bunch of environmental books from the library to set on a table for people to look through if they want (I can check them out on my card for the day if you'd prefer).
We might have refreshments, but I think we'll have them outside. It'd be a good way to get people out of the room but let them loiter if they want to continue discussing things. Ooo, we could go to the park.
The event itself will be from 11-12:20ish, I'm reserving a half hour before and after for setup and take down so we don't interfere with the next group.
Kid friendly, but aimed more at teens and adults.
