Program Description

Event Details

Join us for an OUT OF THIS WORLD program as we welcome Air Force Lieutenant Colonel (Retired) and NASA Astronaut (former), Duane "Digger" Carey.

In addition to serving our country in the USAF for over 22 years, Mr. Carey joined NASA and piloted the Space Shuttle Columbia on a mission to the Hubble Space Telescope.  He also worked at Houston Mission Control.

Mr. Carey has been traveling the country talking to young people since 2004 about his experiences in the Air Force, NASA, and inspiring them to pursue their dreams and consider education in the fields of science and other technical fields.
