Briefly describe your program.
Chess tournament with 2 sections: one that will include USCF (a non-profit chess organization in the United States) rated players so that their games may be rated through the United States Chess Federation. The sole purpose of this is so that players can have their games rated and get an accurate “rating” that makes pairing chess players more fair. This is a standard throughout the country and most serious chess players will already have paid for a membership with USCF.
The other section will include any players who want to play, regardless of if they have registered with USCF.
No money will be exchanged during the tournament and no registration will be required to be paid to play in this tournament. Anyone will be able to play and will be able to choose which section they would prefer to play in.
